Marian M. Erion

Marian M. Erion, 99 of Ashland, Neb. passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Saunders Medical Long Term Care Center in Wahoo. She was born October 13, 1923 in Farmington, Maine to Charles and Clara (Webster) Ford. Marian earned a degree in teaching in Boston, Mass. and worked as a schoolteacher in Martin, S.D. She also owned and operated a restaurant at a truck stop in Gordon and she worked as a florist. Marian was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and volunteering. Marian is survived by her children, Jim (Kim) Erion of Woodland, Wash. and Peggy Diane Rising of Ashland, Neb.; grandchildren, Mark Schwartzkopf, Jackie Starr, James Gross, Madeline Erion, Kodi Anderson and Jenna Anderson; great-grandchildren, Madison, Tyler and Hudson Schwartzkopf, Trinity and Aiden Rowley, and Zander Forbes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Clara Ford; son, Charles Chipper Erion, daughter, Patty Erion; granddaughter, Jeannie David; sister, Charlotte Wallingford. Private family services will be held. Inurnment at Tuthill Cemetery in Tuthill. Memorials in care of the family for future designations. Visit www.marcysvoboda.com to leave condolences.
