2023 Homecoming Royalty and Schedule

Homecoming week 2023 is right around the corner, this year’s theme is games! The week will kick off on Sunday, September 10, with the color run at 2:00 p.m. beginning in the high school parking lot.

Monday, September 11 is tourist day with a full schedule of events. At 6:00 p.m. the pancake supper will be held at the American Legion Auditorium with coronation to follow at 7:00 p.m. Athletic events for that evening have middle school football in Winner, cross country in White River, and middle school volleyball in White River.

Tuesday, September 12, the battle of jocks versus nerds will take place at the high school. Classes will be divided, two versus two, for the dress up competition. That night at 6 p.m. the Warrior volleyball team will take on Crazy Horse.

Wednesday, September 13, is class unity day and the high school will run a 1:00 p.m. dismissal schedule so everyone can be in attendance for the famous Powder-Puff Football game from 1 - 2 p.m. and the Ruff Tuff Volleyball match from 2:30 - 4 p.m. at the American Legion Auditorium.

Thursday, September 14, is Adam Sandler day, bring out your best costumes! A district pep rally will be held at 2:30 p.m. to get everyone pumped up for the home volleyball game versus Oelrichs beginning at 6 p.m.

Friday, September 15, is the day everyone’s been waiting for, purple and gold day! Warrior Olympics will kick off the day at 8:00 a.m. Lineup for the parade will begin at 12:40 p.m. with the parade starting at 1:00 p.m. Burning of the BC will take place at 5:15 p.m. and the football game kick off time is slated for 6:00 p.m.

Don’t forget to be present at half time of the game for the Kiss the ?? One lucky teacher will get to kiss an undisclosed animal at half time!
