Chase the Ace, hosted by CHART, will resume this Thursday, March 11. CHART stands for Cancer Healing Awareness Resource Team. CHART was started to help find treatment and alleviate travel costs from our isolated area. CHART helps cover meals, lodging, and transportation.
The last Chase the Ace was held in March of 2020. The pot remains at $9250. Tickets may be purchased for $1 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the New Legion. Ten percent goes to the nightly winner, 40 percent to the pot, and 50 percent to CHART. The drawing will begin at 7 p.m.
The same rules as before, one card will be drawn from the entire deck, including jokers. Twelve cards remain. Winning ticket holder draws the card. If the card drawn is the Ace of Clubs, they win the pot. If the Ace of Clubs is not picked, another drawing will be held until the Ace of Clubs is drawn. You must be present to win. There are no COVID restrictions currently in place. The dining room will be opened for more space. You are welcome to wear a mask if you wish.
